Win tickets for Evita in The Opera
As a KU alumni, you now have a unique opportunity to enter a drawing for tickets to KU's annual celebration at The Opera. At the gala performance, you can experience Evita, the story of Argentina's former First Lady.
The UCPH Alumni Network is giving away two tickets to 10 lucky winners for the second part of the university's annual celebration. It will take place at the Opera House on Friday, November 13. The performance centres on the woman who both divided opinion and attained almost godlike status in post-war Argentina, promising a spectacular evening on the Opera's 'Store Scene'. The doors open at 6 p.m., when the evening begins with a welcome drink. The performance starts at 7 p.m. After, there will be an opportunity to mingle to the sounds of a jazz band performing in the beautiful foyer.
About the performance:
This musical is a brand-new Danish translation about the life of Eva Perón. She used her youth and beauty to rise socially, gained political influence as the president’s wife, died at just 33 – and became an icon for large parts of the population. She was a symbol of the working class, while at the same time becoming known as a cynical and power-hungry populist.
Please note! Only alumni, that is former students at the University of Copenhagen, can enter the draw. If you are not already a member of the UCPH Alumni Network, you will be registered in connection with the draw.
The 10 winners will be drawn on October 19, 2026, and will be notified directly by email.
