UCPH part of the world's top-10% universities

The QS World University Rankings 2017/2018 is out, and the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) has dropped five places compared to last year’s number 68 ranking worldwide. UCPH is now number 73 in the world and 22 in Europe (20th last year).

Despite the slight slip on the overall list, UCPH is still the best-placed university in Scandinavia. If you look at the lists based on subject area, UCPH has seven programmes in the top 20. The top scoring education programme is veterinary medicine, which is ranked as number 13 in the world. Among the other programmes in the top 20, development studies is 14th and anthropology is 16th.

As usual, US and British universities are heavily represented at the top of the tables, and occupy all nine of the top 10 spots. At the top is MIT, followed by Stanford and Harvard. Read the entire article by UniAvisen via this link.
